What is Ganoderma?

Ganoderma lucidum, in shape umbrella, it is a polyporaceae belonging to Ganoderma fungus. Ganoderma is recorded as the premium medicine by the Shengnong Materia Medica. Ganoderma has 5000 years history as an herbal medicine in China.

Ganoderma lucidum has a very wide range of application scope. From Chinese medicine dialectical view, heart, lungs, liver, spleen and kidney weakness patients can take Ganodema. The curable disease including internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, facial features immunity-lower disease.

What is Ganoderma Spore Powder?
GLS is the seed of ganoderma lucidum, it is a reproductive cell ejected from the mature period Ganoderma Lucidum fruit body. Each spore only 5 to 8 microns in diameter. Ganoderma lucidum rich in polysaccharide, triterpene ganoderma lucidum acid, organic germanium, and trace element selenium and other bioactive substances.

Why Ganoderma Spore Powder needs to be cell-wall broken?

The surface of the Ganoderma lucidum spore has a double layer of hard shell, the active ingredient of the spore powder contained in it, which is not easy to be absorbed by human body. There are many different kinds of cell-wall break technology, such as enzyme hydrolysis, chemical method, and physical method. The better way is use GanoHerb’s low temperature break technology, the breaking rate reach 99%, which is greatly improve the body's absorption of more effective ingredients.

Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Oil
Ganoderma spore oil extract from high broken ganoderma spore powder by supercritical CO2 extraction technology. Which rich in triterpene and unsaturated fatty acid, that is the essence of the ganoderma lucidum spore powder.

Ganoderma Lucidum Fruiting Bodies

Ganoderma lucidum fruiting body is the general name for the whole ganoderma bacteri. which form by cap and stipe ,and can be ground into powder or cut into pieces.Usually used in making ganoderma tea, cooking soup or brewing wine, etc. The cap contains  rich Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides , triterpenoids  and other biologically active ingredients. On the contrary, the stipe containes rarely. Generally it is  not recommended for human consumption, and it is discarded when producing ganoderma products. So, the ganoderma without stipe is a better choice.

Ganoderma Lucidum Extract
Ganoderma extract comes from Ganoderma lucidum which high concentration extract through water, alcohol. Ganoderma extract tasted bitter and easily oxidized, deterioration, so it requires very strict conditions for storage. The polysaccharide and polypeptide in Ganoderma lucidum water extract  have the function for  immunomodulatory, antineoplastic, chemotherapy damage protection, sedation, analgesia, cardiac, anti-myocardial ischemia, lowering blood pressure, lowering blood sugar, regulate blood lipids, improve hypoxia tolerance, antioxidant scavenging free radicals, anti-aging. Ganoderma lucidum alcohol extract and the triterpenoids it contains, not only has the function which same as polysaccharide (peptide)  for liver protect, anti-tumor, analgesic and antioxidant scavenging radicals but also inhibition the release of histamine and inhibittion angiotensin invertase activity, inhibition the synthesis  of cholesterol , inhibition the aggregation  platelet and so on. (Lin Zhibin, "Ganoderma from magic to science")

Does ganoderma lucidum spore powder tasted bitter?
Pure Ganoderma spore powder is not bitter, and the fresh ones exude a unique scent. The compound spores which added Ganoderma extract powder have a bitter taste.

The difference between ganoderma lucidum spore powder and ganoderma lucidum fruiting body?
Ganoderma lucidum is the treasure of Chinese medicine . Ganoderma fruiting bodies contain rich polysaccharide, triterpenoids, protein and various trace elements. Using the modern biotechnology to broken the  spores, and processing  under sterile & low temperature conditions ,which maintaining the biological activity of the active ingredient of Ganoderma lucidum spores such as polysaccharides, polypeptides, amino acids, triterpenoids etc. Cell-wall broken  spores contain more triterpenoids, while the Ganoderma lucidum which after water extraction  rich in polysaccharides. So, taking them together, the effect will be better.
